Statement
I perform, ‘make’ and teach as both a collaborative and solo artist.
My own practice addresses ideas that stem from notions of ‘mixing’ or being mixed and attempts to engage with words and ideas that I find difficult like mule, mongrel, half-caste, monster, the in-between. I am interested in hybridity, ‘crossings’, migration, blood, skins, skinning, carefully controlled experiments, well-oiled machinery, genetics and love.
I also have two companies that I regularly work for; Blast Theory (as a performer/associate artist) http://blasttheory.co.uk, and Pacitti Company (as a core performer, deviser and research collaborator) http://pacitticompany.com
