Statement

I'm a freelance artist and producer working in London and the South East, a member of the Activators network, and delighted to be a member of the NWN board.

As a board member...

Relevant experience for this role includes founding and running 'Translations' - a multidisciplinary network and sharing platform for artists in Atlanta, GA and later in Farnham, UK; and my role as Creative Producer at the Farnham Maltings. I am now freelance, and as well as producing my own performance work I am Project Director for 'Restock, Rethink, Reflect' at the Live Art Development Agency, a Creative Adviser for the Oxfordshire Touring Theatre Company and member of the grassroots organisations Alternate ROOTS.

As an artist...

My work as an artist leans gently but clearly across disciplines, countries and thought structures. Whether in a public space, in a theatre or on the page, I try to find ways to shift perspectives and invite intimate dialogue with strangers. I've been creating and directing original performance work since 1999. My work ranges from large-scale performance installations made through an in-depth collaborative process to small solo interventions in public spaces. Collaborators include Lucille Acevedo-Jones, Lucy Cash, Cis O'Boyle and Manuel Vason.
