Statement
Winner of Premio Internazionale Claudio Gora 2007, Rome

Imploding Fictions is a young international theatre collective with a passion for bold and unusual performance, irreverent dramaturgies and plays with a rare production history.
We are based in London, but tour on a regular basis and have recently performed in Egypt, Norway, the Netherlands and Italy (winner of Premio Internazionale Claudio Gora for best experimental company in Rome) and given workshops and seminars in Serbia and Germany.
The artistic directors of Imploding Fictions are Philip Thorne and Oystein Ulsberg Brager. We work with a broad range of international performers, artists and theatre-makers who share an enthusiasm for innovation and collaborative work. Artists and collaborators recombine for different projects.
