Statement

NWY has just completed a year of live art development in Yorkshire (Feb 07 - Mar 08).

The network is going through a period of change and renewal and is returning to its former focus as a network for live art/new work practtioners based in Yorkshire.

NWY has an E-Forum with 100 members - if you'd like to join contact newworkyorkshire@googlemail.com

--------------------

NWY
• Enables professional development
• Empowers practice in the margins
• Works in partnership
• Stimulates debate and influencing strategy
• Makes connections between disciplines

*NWY loosely defines New Work as live art, contemporary performance, video/time-based arts, sound-art/experimental music, cross-disciplinary and digital practices. New Work operates on the margins of mainstream contemporary practice and/or blurs the boundaries between disciplines.
