Statement
I am writer specialising in writing on Live Art and contemporary performance. I am also interested in arts facilitation, curation and networks. I have recently co-founded the 'New Writing Collective Yorkshire' with co-writer Charlotte Morgan.
Since graduating from York St John with a BA Performance, I have worked for various arts organisations and bodies in Yorkshire, and believe my experience in a diverse range of arts organisations feed in to a greater understanding of how arts and culture sits in modern Britain and my regional area of Yorkshire.
My own practice as an artist is not my current focus, however I post on both a written and artistic blog regularly. I feel extremely passionate about the arts and will accept most new challenges which come my way creatively! I have a theatre background, yet my interests lie more heavily in Live Art and Contemporary performance practice after studying this area to degree level at York St John University.
