•	Membership to New Work Network (NWN) is a one off non refundable fee of £15

•	In the event that the company be wound up, each member may be asked to pay the sum of £1 towards its debts if requested 

Member Rights:

•	NWN members have the right to vote on issues raised at AGMs and to stand as a NWN Trustee  

•	Members have the right to rescind their membership at any time.

Duties and Obligations:

NWN members hereby undertake to conduct themselves responsibly and to use appropriate language and behaviour, with special regard to Equal Opportunities, when participating in discussions at NWN events, and in online discussion forums.

Terms and Conditions for web access:

Use of NWN website and online forums is subject to the following terms and conditions and all applicable laws. By accessing and using the NWN website, you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Terms of Use.

Conduct:

NWN members hereby undertake to access and use the NWN website only for lawful purposes. Members are solely responsible for the knowledge of and adherence to any and all laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to use of the site. By accessing the site you agree not to:

 (i) Use the site to commit a criminal offence or to encourage conduct that would constitute a criminal offence or give rise to a civil liability,

 (ii) Post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, libelous, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, profane, or otherwise objectionable content;

 (iii) Alter, damage or delete any content or other communications that are not your own content or to otherwise interfere with the ability of others to access the site;

 (iv) Claim a relationship with or to speak for any individual, business, association, institution or other organisation for which you are not authorized to claim such a relationship;

 (v) Post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation to other users.

While the NWN website administrators and moderators will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review all content uploaded. Therefore, members must acknowledge all posts made to this site express the views and opinions of the author and not NWN or NWN’s website administrators and moderators (except for posts by these people) who will hence not be held liable.

NWN accepts no responsibility for any damage caused by receiving emails from the NWN email systems and domains hosted thereof nor any liability for damage caused by material submitted to the site.

Breach of any rules of conduct may lead to the member being immediately and permanently banned (and their service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

All areas:

•	Any member who uses language, and or content, deemed to be offensive on the NWN website will be formally warned in writing. If no action is taken on behalf of the member, they will be removed from the NWN website, and their NWN membership rescind.

•	Any member who engages in criticism of a personal nature, or indulges in threatening or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will be formally warned in writing. If no action is taken on behalf of the member, they will be removed from the NWN website, and their NWN membership rescind.

Security:

Creating multiple accounts for a single user is not allowed. Members hereby agree that the website administrator and moderators have the right to remove, edit, move or close any material submitted at any time should they see fit.
  
As a user you agree to any information you have entered being stored in a database.  While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

This website system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve viewing pleasure. The email address you have submitted is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one), and for being contacted by the administrators and moderators except in the case that the submitting member has given permission for it to be viewable by members and/or the public.

Member details and the database are secured by password and username. Member details can be accessed and edited at any time. The administrators and moderators can access all details stored on the database but will not alter personal details without notifying the member.  NWN will use and process the personal data supplied for the purpose of maintaining and operating the database. This includes contact details and other personal information supplied.

Termination:

The only rights members have with respect to dissatisfaction with any
policies, guidelines, or practices of NWN in operating the website, is to discontinue accessing the website. NWN, may terminate or temporarily suspend your access to all or any part of the site, without notice, for conduct that NWN believes to be a violation of this Agreement or for other conduct which NWN, in its sole discretion, believes is harmful to other users.

NWN may discontinue operating the NWN site and rescind web privileges granted by this Agreement without notice at any time for any reason in its sole discretion.

Disclaimer of Warranty:

NWN is not responsible for any information or content contained within the site and makes no representations about the suitability of the information contained for any purpose or about its legitimacy, legality, validity, accuracy, correctness, reliability, quality, stability, completeness or currentness.
 
Members hereby agree that use of the site is at their own risk. Neither NWN, its Directors, employees nor affiliates warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. The NWN website is provided on an "as is", "as available" basis without representations or warranties of any kind, either expressed or Implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Some links on the NWN site may lead to sites posted by independent site owners. NWN does not review independent sites or control their content, and merely provides these links to visitors for their convenience. These links are not an endorsement of products, services, or information provided by such sites. Intellectual Property Rights:

All NWN members undertake to recognise their moral obligations and not to abuse nor plagiarise ideas presented within the NWN website. 

Any member deemed to be abusing or plagiarising the work of others during or subsequent to the publishing within both the NWN website may be permanently excluded from the site. This includes, but not restricted to, images, articles, and ideas. Whilst you may download them from the internet for the sole purpose of examining them, it is a breach of copyright under international laws, which may render you liable to prosecution to store or reproduce them in any form or way whatsoever. Any trademarks displayed belong to their respective owners. NWN shall not be liable for any damages connected with the information within these pages.

Members accept that all ideas and information posted onto the website will be placed within a public domain. NWN cannot prevent and will not be held liable for any abuse nor plagiarism resulting from submission of ideas to the website.

Ideas, as such, cannot be copyrighted within law. The act of publishing these ideas on the site, however, is evidence of the identity of the origin of the idea and the date of its posting and places a moral obligation on the reader not to plagiarise.

Information submitted to the NWN site must constitute the original work of the author.  The information provided must be accurate to the best of the author's knowledge at the time of submitting.

General:

NWN reserves the right to refuse admission to NWN membership or to exclude members and their information from the website, in perpetuity for breach of any of these terms and conditions.

NWN reserves the right to remove or refuse any information submitted to the site at any time.

Members accept that all information posted on the NWN website will be held in a database.  Should the posting member elect by means of checkbox to make such information public, it will be placed within a public domain.

NWN has agreed to regularly archive its website with the British Library. Posting of text and images on our website will automatically form part of the archive. All copyright will remain with the original owners of the work.
