Statement
I am an artist living and working in London, I make solo work and also collaborate as part of the performance dance collective "12 Lights".
My work varies between subtle durational performance and live movement that invades peoples' lives and personal space for a short period of time.
I strive to make site/situation specific work for the general public. I have no set audience. I create performances for those who reside in the space that I chose to occupy, be it commuters walking through Blackfriars underpass or school kids climbing a stairwell on their way home.
I am interested in artwork that can be mistaken as the everyday and challenges perceptions of normality.
I hope to investigate the roles and boundaries between artist/audience, whilst exploring how art can exist outside gallery spaces.
My art can only be viewed in the live experience.
Currently I am working as a Trainee at Artsadmin. My traineeship spans artists' projects, advisory and education.
