Taking place every 6 months, and open to the public, Perambulator enables its members to show projects in development or in their final stages. It supports the development of audiences for Live Art / New Work and allows New Work Yorkshire artists to see each other’s work in practice. It offers curators and programmers an opportunity to see the breadth of the New Work sector in Yorkshire. By taking part in the peer mentoring scheme, artists can present and develop their work in a supportive research environment, with feedback a key feature. Every event is held in partnership with a different arts organisation or artists group in Yorkshire, making each Perambulator distinctive in terms of site, structure, duration and approach.
